DAY 1

Arrival

DAY 2

Bahar Dar (Lakeside Town) (UNCC-AA)

After breakfast morning flight to Bahar Dar. After one-hour flight you will arrive at Bahar Dar. After checked-in at the hotel drive to Blue Nile River falls locally known as “Tisisat”. After lunch a boat trip on Lake Tana will take you on a visit to ancient monasteries. (Women are not allowed to enter the Kibran Gabriel monastery)
Overnight Bahirdar.

DAY 3

Gondar (The Camelot of Africa)

In the morning, drive from Bahirdar to historic city of Gondar (The Camelot of Africa). Here you will visit a total of eleven palaces in one compound from 17 centuries. In the afternoon after lunch you will visit Berhaneselassie church that is famous for its murals art. Overnight in Gondar.

DAY 4

Lalibela (The Eighth Wonder of the World)

After breakfast depart to Lalibela on the morning flight. Having checked-in at the hotel go out for a visit of the 13th century eleven rock-hewn churches excavated from granite bed rock of Roha mountain. It is still an active place of worship and protected by UNESCO as eight wonder of the world. Visiting will continue in the afternoon as well after lunch. Overnight in Lalibela.

DAY 5

Axum (Mysterious Monoliths)

In the morning flight to Axum -once the capital city of Ethiopia that survived to date. There, you will visit the famous stale erected for centuries. After lunch in the afternoon your excursion includes a visit to different archaeological sites, the bath and the palace of Queen Sheba; tomb of Kings, Churches which include St Mary of Tsion where many believed to find the Ark of Covenant. Overnight in Axum.

DAY 6

Addis Ababa ( The New flower)

In the morning, drive to the airport for flight to the capital city of Ethiopia, Addis Ababa. After lunch, city tour to visit the Entoto Mountain, National museum, Trinity cathedral, and then proceed to the biggest open-air market in Africa. Overnight in Addis Ababa.

DAY 7

Diredawa – Harar

In the morning flight to Diredawa.
Harar recognized as the fourth Muslim sacred place in the world hosting pilgrims after Mecca, Medina and Jerusalem. The 16th century wall is built by Adere people to protect themselves from aggression of externals. Overnight in Harer.

DAY 8

Harar

In the morning visit of Babile, the valley of marvels, Harar Mosques, churches, tombs, the 19th century French poet Arthur Rembound house, Cultural houses of Adere people. In the evening attend Hyena man Performance. Overnight in Harer.

DAY 9

Dire Dawa / Addis Ababa

Drive back to Dire Dawa to catch the flight back to Addis Ababa. Departure.
